Dr Lana Margoulis (B.D.Sc)
Dr Lana Margoulis has moved to Melbourne from Russia in 1991 and graduated with Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2002. She has been an integral part of Elwood Dental Group since 2005 and in 2015 has taken over the reigns as the principal dentist of the clinic. Lana has become well known in the Elwood community for her caring, empathetic and gentle nature, treating each patient as an individual, and always striving to provide the highest quality dental service to all of her patients. Her special interests in dentistry include cosmetic mouth reconstruction with veneers, crowns, bridges and implants, as well as Invisalign 'clear braces'.
When not working Lana keeps a busy household with her husband and two teenage sons, having had to learn much about soccer to keep up with them. She loves reading, travelling and spending time with the family at the local beach in the warmer summer months.
Dr Yi Rang Jung (B.D.Sc)
Dr Yi Rang Jung qualified with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in New Zealand in 2007. After moving across the Tasman Sea, she worked on the Sunshine Coast before the bright lights of Melbourne city beckoned. Dr. Yi Rang strives to provide gentle and comfortable care and is interested in all aspects of general dentistry. She believes in the motto 'healthy teeth for life'. She loves going for a jog, spending time with friends and settling into a good book.
Dr Sunshine Le (B.D.Sc)
Dr. Sunshine Le graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2006. Since then she has taken on positions in a variety of dental settings in Queensland and New South Wales including the Australian Defence Force before settling back in Melbourne in 2012. Sunshine particularly enjoys working with children and her gentle and calm approach puts even the most dental phobic patients at ease. In her spare time Sunshine loves to paint abstract art and loves all things to do with art and design, travelling and dogs.
Dr Ghazaleh Farrokhyar (D.M.D)
Originally from Canada, Dr Ghazaleh graduated from the Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney in 2019. Upon graduation, she practiced on the mid north coast of New South Wales before relocating to call Melbourne home. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and prides herself on delivering a comfortable and gentle experience for her patients. She strives to provide high quality oral care in a patient centred manner.
Outside of dentistry, she enjoys spending time with her young growing family and exploring the Melbourne food scene.
Yvette (Practice manager)
Yvette comes with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the
Dental Industry having graduated as a Dental Assistant in 1991.
She has lived and worked in the surrounding areas for more than
30 years. "A Smile to me speaks a thousand words" and can help
to put patients at ease. In her spare time she enjoys the love of beautiful food, cooking, interior design and travelling to visit her grandson.
Tess (Head dental assistant)
Originally from WA, and having also worked in Darwin and in remote communities, Tess has over nine years of experience in the dental industry, both as a Dental Assistant and Front Desk Administrator. She holds a Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting and Radiography. Tess is passionate about delivering efficient, empathetic and friendly patient care and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. In her spare time Tess loves exercising, cooking, and often spoils us with her amazing cake creations.
Natalie (Dental assistant)
As well as 6 years of dental assisting and front desk experience, Natalie has previously gained a Diploma of Dental Technology at RMIT. With over five years in customer service, she excels in patient relations and teamwork, and is passionate about oral health and hygiene. When not working, Natalie is a busy mum of a 3-year old son.
Jaspa (Dental assistant)
Originally from Queensland, Jaspa has over five years of experience as a dental assistant. Always eager to grow professionally, she is dedicated, quick to learn, has a caring nature and is always open to asking questions to improve. Jaspa now loves to call Melbourne home and settled right into our community.
Ariarna (Dental assistant)
Highly organized and efficient, Ariarna has wealth of experience in dental assisting and reception. She is known for attention to detail, empathy, and strong teamwork. In her spare time Ariarna’s passion is animal welfare, in particular volunteering in care and adoption of rabbits, both at home and at The Rabbit Sanctuary.
Amelia (Dental assistant)
A qualified Dental Nurse, Amelia recently relocated from the UK to Melbourne with her partner. She has strong interpersonal skills developed through customer service roles, excels in team environments and thrive in patient-centred care. Motivated, organized, and eager to grow professionally, Amelia is excited to settle in Melbourne long-term.
Dr Aleisha
Dr Aleisha joined Elwood Dental Practice in 2026 after returning to Melbourne to be closer to friends and family. Since completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2016 Dr Aleisha has also completed a range of continuing education including a mini residency in endodontics. This study has allowed her to complete advanced root canal treatments for many of her patients who would have otherwise had to travel to the city to see specialists. Dr Aleisha has a wide range of skills after practicing in regional South Australia and Queensland for several years. She takes a gentle and thorough approach to all her patients and looks forward to taking care of the Elwood community.
